Central Florida · Orange County
Living in Windermere, made simpler.
Windermere is an incorporated town in southwest Orange County, settled in the 1880s and chartered in 1925 on an isthmus between Lake Down and Lake Butler. It sits at the center of the 13-lake Butler Chain, designated Outstanding Florida Waters by the state, and much of the town's original street grid remains graded dirt roads that the town deliberately maintains.
